  1. My speaker's in Africa right now so I won't be able to speak with her until later this month. Also, she left before I got back from Spain, so only Mr. Shulman has spoken with her. I read the autobiography that she put in the collaborative book about the conference on the emory website, which gave me a general idea about who she is/what she does, and I have researched some of the organizations that she's associated with on this trip to Africa.

  2. Sounds like you have a good start considering that you can't actually interview your speaker yet (I can't either). I would suggest that you start planning out what questions you're going to ask so that you are ready for the interview.

  3. You have a good start, and it's an interesting topic, maybe you could right questions focusing on/ or do more resaearch on how/what aid is necessary to help surgical patients.

  4. I finally did the interview!!! It was only about 20 minutes but I feel like I got a lot of information out of it... I didn't like the way I sounded as an interviewer but she was really nice so... I think it went well. The only thing is she works ALL OVER the world so I don't even know where to start researching.
